Dakota/Nakoda Language, Culture Lessons Open
The Fort Peck Tribes Language and Culture Department is offering a summer program beginning July 5 at the Language & Culture building in Poplar and the Wolf Point Community Center.
The classes will run Tuesday- Thursday until Aug. 4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Language lessons will be offered, along with cultural teachings, field trips to learn about medicinal plants, sacred sites, turnip digs, berry picking and water source locating.
