Roosevelt County Libraries To Host Lego Guy

With about 680 sets in his collection, Curtis Mork hails from Colorado and has the largest Lego collection in the state of Colorado.

Mork will have a program at 10 a.m. on July 7 at the Froid Library, 1 p.m. on July 7 at the Culbertson Library and 1 p.m. July 9 at the Roosevelt County Library in Wolf Point.

He has been a fan of Lego since he was six years old and, for the past 13 years, has held exhibits and talks centered around the history of Lego and building challenges for summer reading programs in many states. He also gives everyone a sneak peek at some of the things Lego is currently doing.

This year, he will be traveling parts of Montana, visiting libraries sharing his stories, interactive exhibits and Legos with people attending. He works with children of all ages including senior citizens. His collection consists of mostly Star Wars and Lego City and has been featured in many publications.

This year, he spotlights Fantasy from Wizarding World, Lord of the Rings, etc. Mork starts off with a little history about Lego, then next comes the best part. Everyone will have a chance to build their own creation and display it.

For more information, check the library Facebook pages or call 406-787-5298 (Culbertson), 406-766-2492 (Froid).
