business degree at Dawson College as well as play basketball. Sean Uy plans to attend Abilene Christian University in Texas to pursue a degree in Wildlife Resources and Management. Salutatorian is Kaleb Hoversland, son of Mr & Mrs Blaine Hoversland. Valedictorian is Sean Uy, son of Mr. & Mrs. Erickson Uy of Wolf Point. They gave great speeches! Congratulations to the graduates!

Kolden Hoversland introduced their commencement speaker, Mr. Ron Reddig, who spoke on “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough,” basing his talk on Jeremiah 29:11. He told the graduates to embrace God’s Will and vision for their lives. It might be different than what you planned, but it’s best. He answered the question “What is life?” with wise words and examples from his life as a caregiver for his wife, with the strength God provided to do so after his own liver transplant seven years ago. He told them “If you want to be blessed, serve others. He asked them to keep faith scrapbooks and journals to record God’s greatness and blessings in life. He exhorted the graduates to live a life of virtue. Tell the truth. It brings abundant joy.

Gifts were given to LCHS teaching staff leaving this year: Michael Butler, athletic director Ron Reddig and Al and Connie Leland. The entire community commends their years of service at LCHS. You will be missed!

A wonderful reception for all the graduates and their families was held at the ranch of Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Hoversland.
