Lions Account For Points In Wolf Point

Lustre’s boys scored 30 points and Lustre’s girls accounted for six points during the Gene Nelson Memorial Invitational in Wolf Point on Friday, May 6.

Braden Ewing earned firstplace honors in the triple jump with a best of 40-02. The junior finished fourth in the 200 at 24.42 seconds and placed fifth in the long jump at 18-4.

Elijah Lenihan cleared 5-4 for third place in the high jump. The junior took seventh in the long jump at 17-8.

The boys’ 400-meter relay team of Sean Uy, Byron Ewing, Lenihan and Braden Ewing finished third at 49.83 seconds.

Placing sixth were Cayden Klatt at 5:29.23 for the 1600 and Lenihan at 22.44 in the 110-meter hurdles. Klatt took eighth in the 300-meter hurdles at 54.11 seconds. Mason Hilkemann was 10th in the javelin at 103-1.

For Lustre’s girls’ team, Rebekah Jossart had a time of 6:47.98 for fourth place in the 1600.

Alexa Reddig earned fifth place in the 100-meter hurdles at 19.28 seconds. She took 11th in the long jump at 12-4.
