Hentges Files For Commissioner Election
On the last day to file for office, Wolf Point business owner Ken Hentges joined the Roosevelt County commissioners’ race on Monday, March 14.
Other candidates for the commissioner position include Edward L. Bach, Craig Karge and Robert Toavs. Incumbent Duane Nygaard didn’t file for re-election.
There are five candidates for county sheriff. Incumbent Jason Frederick filed for re-election for the office in January. Other individuals who have filed include William “Willy” Black Dog, David Gonzales, Coretta Greybear and Brent Nygard. The primary election is scheduled for June 7. The general election is November 8.
Others who have filed include county attorney Frank Piocos, clerk and recorder/public administrator Cheryl A. Hansen, justice of the peace for post no. 1 Traci Harada and treasurer/assessor Betty Romo.
