COVID Cases Drop To Three In County
Roosevelt County had three active COVID cases as of Monday, Feb. 28. There have been 70 COVID-related deaths in the county. There are two current hospitalizations.
County health officials encourage all residents aged 5 and up to be vaccinated and those over 16 should consider getting booster doses. Immunizations are by appointment only. For questions or to schedule an appointment, call 406-653-6223.
Adult vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on March 3 in Wolf Point, March 17 in Wolf Point and March 24, if needed, in Culbertson.
There will be a vaccination clinic for children, ages 5-11, from 1-4 p.m. on March 18 in Wolf Point.
Area Statistics
Daniels County had one active case as of Tuesday, March 1. The county has 376 recovered cases and 386 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
Valley County reports 17 active cases as of Friday, Feb. 25. The county has 1,609 recovered cases and 1,662 cumulative cases. There have been 36 COVID-related deaths. In McCone County, there are no active cases as of Friday, Feb. 25. There have been nine COVID-related deaths in the county. There have been 377 recovered cases and 386 cumulative cases.
Phillips County had two active cases as of Friday, Feb. 25. There have been 1,008 recovered cases and 28 COVID-related deaths. For Richland County, there were six active cases and 2,504 recovered cases as of Friday, Feb. 25. Total COVID-related deaths are 30. There have been 2,540 total cases.
Sheridan County had one active case as of Friday, Feb. 25. There have been 669 recovered cases and 11 COVID-related deaths.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 266,579 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,642,439 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 1,536 active cases. There are 108 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Feb. 28, a total of 3,187 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 261,856 people have recovered. A total of 11,608 have been hospitalized.
North Dakota Statistics
Williams County, N.D., had 37 active cases as of Monday, Feb. 28, bringing the cumulative total to 10,389. There have been 68 COVID-related deaths.
McKenzie County, N.D., had 18 active cases as of Monday, Feb. 28, bringing the cumulative total to 3,236. There have been 25 COVID-related deaths.
Divide County, N.D., had one cases as of Monday, Feb. 28, bringing the cumulative total to 454. There have been four COVID-related deaths.
Vaccine Doses
As of Monday, Feb. 28, 1,406,584 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 555,745 or 54 percent fully immunized Montanans.
In Roosevelt County, 11,841 total doses have been administered as of Monday, Feb. 28. There are 4,941 fully immunized for 50 percent of the county’s 9,918 eligible for vaccination.
In Valley County, 7,738 total doses have been administered. There are 3,171 fully immunized for 46 percent of the county’s 6,931 eligible for vaccination.
In Daniels County, 1,725 total doses have been administered. There are 698 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s 1,559 eligible for vaccination.
In McCone County, 1,107 total doses have been administered. There are 428 fully immunized for 27 percent of the county’s 1,562 eligible for vaccination.
In Richland County, 9,776 total doses have been administered. There are 4,185 fully immunized for 41 percent of the county’s 10,310 eligible for vaccination.
In Phillips County, 4,250 total doses have been administered. There are 1,768 fully immunized for 48 percent of the county’s 3,675 eligible for vaccination.
In Sheridan County, 4,613 total doses have been administered. There are 1,840 fully immunized for 60 percent of the county’s 3,075 eligible for vaccination.
