State Schools See 6,911 COVID Cases

Montana’s public schools so far have experienced 6,911 total COVID cases this school year, according to the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services.

Those cases include 5,834 students and 1,077 staff members.

According to the figures, Southside School in Wolf Point had five staff members and one student reported positive for COVID this school year. Wolf Point Junior High had one student reported and Northside had two students reported.

For Frontier School, there were two staff members and two student cases.

Poplar Elementary School was listed for four staff members. There was one junior high student and one high school student reported for Poplar.

Other Roosevelt County schools with cases reported included: Bainville with three staff members and two students, Brockton with three staff members and three students, Culbertson with one staff member and three students and Froid with six staff members and seven students.

For Glasgow High School, there were three staff members and 19 students with reported cases.

There were nine staff members and 32 students listed for Sidney High School.
