Fort Peck Tribal chairman Floyd Azure described his feeling as “ecstatic” that Deb Haaland was confirmed to lead the U.S. Interior Department on Monday, March 15. Gabriel Scott Hughes of Glasgow changed his plea to guilty for the charge of theft and was sentenced in district court on Wednesday, March 10.
