Three individuals were transported to Fort Peck tribal jail after being stopped by the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s office on Wednesday, April 7. The incident included a short chase, damage to a sheriff’s vehicle and an injury to a deputy. After serving in the U.S. Army for nearly 14 years, Centennial Colon has returned with the goal of helping others as a member of the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office. Colon graduated from Poplar High School in 2005 and then joined the Army. His 13 years and nine months with the Army included tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
