Area Golfers Qualify For State Golf Meet

Two Culbertson golfers qualified for the state golf tournament to be held this week. Colter Romo, a senior, shot a 98 during the season to qualify for the state meet. Makena Hauge, a sophomore, had a score of 118 at the Scobey Invitational on Monday, May 10, to qualify for the state tournament. She placed sixth at the meet. Braeden Romo qualified for the Bainville Bulldogs.

Wolf Point Artists Win State Awards

Two Wolf Point students have gained recognition for their art work. Wolf Point High School freshman Adeia Erickson earned second place and sophomore Audriana Fourbear captured third place in the this year’s Montana Congressional Art competition. The students received a phone call from U.S. Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont., to congratulate them and ask the students about their inspirations.

RMC Wish Becomes Reality Via Pandemic Relief Funds

Through federal funds designated to prepare, prevent and respond to the coronavirus disease, a project is underway at Roosevelt Medical Center to mitigate for infectious disease outbreaks that may come in the future. A total of nearly $3 million was received through gifted CARES ACT funds to complete a facility retrofit and remodel. Once complete, it will enhance patient flow and isolation capabilities
