Steven Paul Nygaard, 61, of Wolf Point died Aug. 7, 2021, at his home on the farm. He was born on Aug. 11, 1959, in Wolf Point to Burle and Lillian (Black) Nygaard, the fifth of six children. He was raised on the family farm north of Wolf Point and graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1978. Featherston Earns Grand Champion Honors


Kalia Featherston of the Centennial Clovers 4-H Club was a double champion during this year’s Roosevelt County Fair. Featherston, who is entering the sixth grade in Culbertson, wasn’t only the grand champion for sheep but she also earned the honor for goats. “I’m really happy with my animals,” Kalia said after her accomplishments. Success isn’t new for her at the county fair.
