Beginning Oct. 24, all local calls in Montana must be dialed with the 406 area code to connect. Montana’s 406 area code currently allows seven-digit dialing to complete local calls. It was a strange September as area residents experienced more hot days in the month than usual this year. According to the National Weather Service, Wolf Point had eight days than reached 90 degrees or higher during September.
