Gianforte Lauches 12 Days Of Giving

Montana Gov. Greg Gianforte launched the 12 Days of Giving after lighting the Christmas Tree in the Rotunda at the Montana State Capitol on Nov. 30.
“Each holiday season, Montana communities are bound together by an important tradition: giving,” Gianforte said. “In that spirit, today we’re launching the 12 Days of Giving campaign to shine a light on organizations doing heroic work to serve Montanans in need.”
Launching the campaign in front of the new Douglas-Fir Christmas Tree in the Rotunda, the governor established the State Capitol as a coat drive location for One Warm Coat. He and the First Lady donated the first coats of the drive.
OWC partners with three organizations in Montana to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability.
Running through mid-December, the governor’s 12 Days of Giving will highlight the work of a dozen organizations serving Montanans in need.
