Hunting For Female Mountain Lions To Close

The hunting of female mountain lions in Region 6, except for in hunting district 690, closed after sunset on Tuesday, Dec. 7.

The order halting the hunt came shortly after Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials received word that the pre-established harvest quota for the combined districts had been met.
