County Reports 83 Active COVID Cases
Roosevelt County has 83 active cases including three new positive cases as of Monday, Nov. 22. There are currently eight hospitalizations.
There have been 59 confirmed COVID related deaths in Roosevelt County.
Vaccination clinics are scheduled from 3-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24,in Culbertson, Dec. 2 in Wolf Point, Dec. 9 in Wolf Point, Dec. 16 in Wolf Point and Dec. 23 in Culbertson.
Area Statistics
Daniels County had six active cases as of Monday, Nov. 22. The county has 288 recovered cases and 303 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
In McCone County, there are seven active cases as of Monday, Nov. 22. There are 292 recovered cases. There have been three COVID-related deaths in the county.
Phillips County had 19 active cases as of Monday, Nov. 22. There have been 806 recovered cases and 28 COVID-related deaths.
For Richland County, there were 39 active cases and 1,874 recovered cases as of Nov. 16. Total COVID-related deaths are 24. There have been 1,937 total cases.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 188,505 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,135,870 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 5,991 active cases. There are 266 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Nov. 22, a total of 2,567 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 180,027 people have recovered.
Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.
Vaccine Doses In Roosevelt County, 9,191 total doses have been administered. There have been 4,211 or 42 percent fully immunizations.
As of Monday, Nov. 22, 1,196,505 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 515,090 or 50 percent fully immunized Montanans.
