Law Enforcement Makes Arrests In Recent Burglaries
Three Wolf Point residents — a 23-year-old male, a 19-year-old male and a 16-year-old male — have been charged in Fort Peck Tribal Court following two break-ins at Agland Co-op’s West Convenience Store in Wolf Point last week.
The break-ins occurred at 2:45 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 11, and again at 2:50 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 14. The store was closed Friday, Nov. 12, while staff cleaned up the mess from the first break-in.
The WPPD reported that Ethan Murphy, 23, and Harold Dean Dupree III, 19, Wolf Point, were arrested for burglary, criminal mischief and theft charges.
A 16-year-old male was cited for curfew violation, criminal mischief, burglary and theft.
They were all charged in Fort Peck tribal court.
Police report that the business had several windows and a doorway broken on Nov. 11. Police responded after an alarm was triggered.
Stolen were cigarettes and an empty cash drawer. There was also reported vandalism to a store computer.
Police were unable to locate suspects after the first incident.
On Nov. 14, an officer again responded to an alarm at Cenex West. The officer was already near the area because of a reported fight.
The three individuals were then reportedly caught trying to break into the business again.
