Students Place At Opening Meet

The Wolf Point High School speech, debate and drama teams are back in live action this year. Each team took were six competitors to the season opener meet this past weekend to compete against schools from Class AA to Class C.

Wolf Point had three competitors place in the top eight: Daniel Sears and Del Eymard placed sixth as a duo in humorous theater and Audrey Weinberger placed seventh in mime.

Also competing this season are Ryan Schumacher in humorous solo, Ryver Summers in humorous oral interpretation and Chase Adams also in humorous oral interpretation.

Overall, there were 341 competitors from 24 different schools. Wolf Point placed sixth as a team in Class B-C drama.

This upcoming Saturday, Nov. 13, Wolf Point will compete in Glasgow with rounds starting at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and finals at 2:30 p.m. Awards will be presented after the final round and all results are tabulated, around 4 p.m. The team will then be in Sidney Saturday, Nov. 20.
