County Reports More Than 100 COVID Cases
Roosevelt County has now reached more than 100 COVID cases. As of Sunday, Nov. 7, Roosevelt County has 126 active cases including 31 new positive cases. There are currently 10 hospitalizations.
There have been 59 COVID-related deaths in Roosevelt County.
Area Statistics
As of Monday, Nov. 8, Valley County’s active count was 57 cases. There have been 1,298 total cases and 27 reported COVID-reported deaths.
Daniels County had one active case as of Tuesday, Nov. 9. The county has 282 recovered cases and 292 cumulative cases. Nine deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 and/or complications.
In McCone County, there are six active cases as of Monday, Nov. 8. There are 268 recovered cases. There have been three COVID-related deaths in the county.
Phillips County had 25 active cases as of Monday, Nov. 8. There have been 785 recovered cases and 25 COVID-related deaths. There are seven active hospitalizations.
For Richland County, there were 51 active cases and 1,782 recovered cases as of Tuesday, Nov. 2. Total COVID-related deaths are 21. There have been 1,854 total cases.
Statewide
According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 181,350 since the start of the pandemic. There have been 2,066,225 tests conducted.
Around the state, there are 7,815 active cases. There are 351 active hospitalizations. By Monday, Nov. 8, a total of 2,423 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 171,112 people have recovered.
Though there is no state mask mandate, local jurisdictions may still choose to implement their own mask requirements. Gov. Gianforte emphasized how providing incentives and encouraging personal responsibility are more effective than imposing unenforceable government mandates.
Vaccine Doses
In Roosevelt County, 8,434 total doses have been administered. There have been 4,091 or 48 percent fully immunizations.
As of Monday, Nov. 8, 1,135,488 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 508,944 or 55 percent fully immunized Montanans.
