Trinity Whitmus relocated to Wolf Point from Havre in the eighth grade and has lived here ever since. She joined Southside last year after completing her student teaching in Lustre. “I knew I wanted to come back and teach in Wolf Point to give back to my community,” Whitmus told the Northern Plains Independent. “I chose Southside because I wanted to be with the younger kids.” Whitmus’s hobbies include hunting, fishing, kayaking, golfing and going to rodeos. She said one thing her students wouldn’t guess about her is that she has 13 friendly cows.

Asked to name her favorite thing about teaching so far, she said, “My favorite is when students actually get what you are talking about and you can see the light bulb click on.”
