Poplar Battles In Match Against Malta

Poplar’s volleyball team lost to Malta in a conference match on Saturday, Oct. 16.

The Indians put up a good fight but fell by a 10-25, 17-25, 15-25, final.

“We did OK,” Poplar Coach William Bemer said. “We’re doing better on playing defense, but we struggled with our serving.”

The coach is pleased with the young team’s attitude and hard work.

The Indians will travel to Harlem on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The district volleyball tournament begins on Friday, Oct. 29, in Wolf Point.
