Lions Fall Short In Volleyball Matches

The Lustre Christian Lions played hard in three volleyball matches during the week.

Lustre fell to Glasgow’s JVs by a 16-25, 21-25, 25-20, 22-25, margin.

Alexa Reddig accounted for six kills and three blocks.

Grace Brown had eight kills and 15 digs. Sarah Dahl served four aces. Rebekah Jossart added 11 digs.

Aubri Holzrichter finished with eight assists.

The Lions lost to Froid/ Lake by a 10-25, 11-25, 7-25, margin.

Having one kill each for the Lions were Holzrichter, Reddig, Jaden Gibson and Brown.

Reddig had two blocks. Holzrichter served two aces. Having four digs each were Holzricther and Dahl.

Nashua edged the Lions by a 25-21, 25-19, 25-14, final.

Leading Lustre were Reddig and Brown with five kills each. Reddig scored three blocks.

Holzrichter finished with six assists and five aces. Jaden Gibson served four aces.

Leaders in digs were Reddig with 13, Brown with 10 and Jossart with nine.
