Poplar Fares Well At Miles City Meet

Poplar’s girls earned sixth place in the team standings at the Miles City meet on Saturday, Oct. 2.

The Indians had 178 points. Williston topped the standings with 40 points followed by Hardin with 62 and Laurel with 85.

Poplar’s Jazmin Gorder finished in 10th place with a time of 20:01.48.

Reinita Irizarry placed 24th at 21:51.76. Mattie Falls Down took 43rd at 23:03.02.

Bailey Dupree finished 46th at 23:29.38. Precious Keiser took 77th at 27:57.76.

Teagan Escarcega took 78th at 28:15.90. Gracelynn Medicine Cloud placed 84th at 30:18.55.

Williston’s Eleni Lovgreen was the overall winner in the girls’ division at 18:44.52.

Poplar’s boys placed 10th with 276 points.

Jase Frederick finished 33rd at 18:19.09. Morgan Mathison took 40th at 18:39.11.

Geordy Medicine Cloud placed 52nd at 19:08.38. Elijah Grey Bear took 74th at 20:49.16.

Delray Lilley placed 89th at 21:51.32. Finesse Headdress was 98th at 26:00.81. Jaylen Red Dog took 100th at 26:56.75.
