Marlina Nannett Martinez has been arrested by the FBI on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in Dallas, Texas.

After making her initial appearance in U.S. District Court in Dallas on Friday, Sept. 17, she is expected to be transferred to Montana.

A federal arrest warrant was issued for Martinez in the U.S. District Court, Great Falls, on April 8. She has been charged with conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute controlled substances, possession with intent to distribute controlled substances and possession with intent to distribute meth.

According to court documents, Martinez and Khalili Lajuan Lyons of Eastpoint, Mich., conspired to distribute oxycodone and fentanyl in October and November 2020.

In April, Lyons made a not guilty plea before U.S. Magistrate Judge John T. Johnston in Great Falls on charges of conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute oxycodone.
