Members of the Culbertson Cowboys’ football team volunteered at the Culbertson Museum on Aug. 17.

Museum board member LeRiesa Waldhausen Zahn said she asked Cowboys coach Brian Manning if the team would be interested in helping with some weeding and other chores at the museum grounds.

Following a two and a half hour practice, team members attacked weeds and other problem areas. They were treated to root beer floats at the museum for their trouble.

“They were polite, friendly and unbelievably helpful,” said Waldhasen Zahn. “They worked like a team and it was wonderful to see. Go Cowboys!”
