Brewfest On Tap For This Weekend, Other Chamber Events Planned

The Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture is gearing up for Wolf Point Brewfest on June 19.

During last week’s board meeting, chamber president Jeff Presser mentioned the importance of making sure that the stadium concessions building is in top shape. Volunteers will clean the area starting at 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 17.

This year’s event will feature the excellent music of Bill Falcon and The Good Medicine Band. Music will start at around 7 p.m. that night.

Ticket prices are $35 in advance or $40 at the gate. Tickets are available at Opportunity Bank, Bryan’s, Sherman Inn and Doc‘Z Missouri Breaks Brewing. You must be 21 years or older to attend. Cost for a non-drinking ticket is $20. Funds help the Wolf Point Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture.

The night will feature about 2530 different beers from brewers throughout the region.

Chamber directors also agreed to pay for supplies and repaint the underpass in the future. Presser notes that the Department of Transportation has agreed to repaint the underpass prior to stampede.

Directors discussed holding entertainment “after hours” sometime in August. The group Short Change was mentioned as possible entertainment.

This year’s A Night on the Missouri (Dinner on the Bridge) will take place Sept. 10-11.
