Underdahl Changes Plea For Criminal Endangerment
Kai Irwin Leigh Underdahl changed his plea to guilty on two counts during a hearing in district court on Tuesday, May 25.
Underdahl made guilty pleas to two counts of criminal endangerment. One of the charges involved discharging a firearm during a vehicle chase. The other count involved chasing another vehicle.
Three counts of assault with a weapon were dismissed.
The charges pertain to an alleged incident involving Underdahl chasing another vehicle and shooting gunshots on U.S. Highway 2 west of Culbertson on Oct. 4.
The counts for criminal endangerment carry a maximum sentence of 10 years and a fine of $50,000.
District judge David Cybulski ordered a pre-sentencing investigation.
