Culbertson Honors Sixteen Graduates Culbertson Honors Sixteen Graduates

Culbertson High School honored 16 graduates at a ceremony in the school gym Saturday, May 22. The event was well attended and broadcast live on social media.

The processional was performed by the CHS band. Colby Olson welcomed community members to the ceremony.

Eighth grade graduates were recognized by Mark Colvin. The class of 2025 includes Dawson Bergum, Angel Burciaga, Gavin Deen, Dylan Gust, Haydn Hauenstein, Macy Lambert, Resse Moon, Colin Purvis, Bridger Salvevold, Kenyon Windy Boy, Patrick Bowlby, Henry Colvin, Jazzmin Fugere, Leah Guthrie, Mark Kirkaldie, Trevor Miller, Trevore Powell, Margaux Runs Through and Serenity Wilbanks. Colter Romo delivered the salutatorian address. He was followed by Zack Kirby, who played piano and sang.

Michael Pederson delivered the valedictorian address. Scholarship awards were presented by Courtney Forbregd.

Cody Larsen introduced senior class advisor Darla Mogga, who delivered the commencement address. The flower appreciation ceremony was next, with students passing out tokens of their appreciation to family, friends and community members.

A slide show was followed by a special ensemble performance by the CHS band.

Colvin presented diplomas to the following students: Anissa Bengochea, Faith Bowland, Kole Formanek, Abbey Granbois, Mckinsey Justice, Zack Kirby, Cody Larsen, Sabastian Lemay, Hunter Lucas, Gavin Marion, Isabella O’Neill, Colby Olson, Michael Pederson, Kylie Portra, Colter Romo and Madisyn Spacht.

Scholarships were awarded from the following organizations and individuals: Millard E. Peterson, Maude Schuetze, Gene Dillman, the Roosevelt Medical Center Foundation, Culbertson Group, True Companies, Montana University System STEM, Culbertson FFA Alumni, NCOA Scholarship, Dennis and Phyllis Washington Foundation and Native American Incentives.

Larsen and Anissa Bengochea delivered the farewell address.
