Jasmine Bridges, a 25-yearold Poplar woman, died from injuries in a rollover vehicle accident east of Wolf Point on Wednesday, April 7.

Jeff Kemp of the Montana Highway Patrol said the crash happened at about 3 p.m. on Highway 25, mile marker 51, when Bridges was driving a 2003 Honda Accord westbound toward Wolf Point.

After the vehicle drifted off to north of the road, Bridges apparently over-corrected to her left. The vehicle went into a slide and overturned.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation. A toxicology test was planned to see if drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident. Speed does not appear to be a factor.

Along with the Montana Highway Patrol, agencies responding included the Roosevelt County Sheriff’s Office, Fort Peck Tribal Police, Wolf Point ambulance and Wolf Point Fire Department.
