Montana Winter Sports Coaches Receive Honors
Coaches from Circle, Glasgow, Sidney and Scobey were among the winners when the Montana Coaches Association released its selections for winter coaches of the year.
Coaches of the Year for wrestling included Sidney’s Guy Melby for Class A, Glasgow’s Jory Casterline for Class B, Circle’s Ty Taylor for Class C, and Kalispell Flathead’s Jeff Thompson for Class AA and for girls’ wrestling.
Jason Wolfe of Scobey was voted the top boys’ basketball coach in Class C. Other boys’ basketball coaches receiving honors were Kevin Morales of Billings Skyview, Jim Stergar of Billings Central and Lodge Grass’ Josh Stewart.
Coaches honored for girls’ basketball were Katie Garcin- Forba of Helena Capital, Dustin Kraske of Havre, Kim Finn of Big Timber and Cassie Pimperton of Fort Benton.
