Fischer Faces First Degree Murder Charge
Doratello “DJ” Juan Fischer was charged by a federal grand jury for first degree murder and use of a firearm during and in relation to a crime of violence.
The charging documents were filed in U.S. District Court of Montana in Great Falls.
Fischer is accused of killing Cody Weeks-Combs in Wolf Point on Nov. 27, 2020.
After had an arraignment hearing in Fort Peck Tribal Court on Dec. 7, for the charge of murder.
“The FBI and the Fort Peck Tribes Criminal Investigations are investigating the death of an adult male in Wolf Point on Nov. 27, 2020,” FBI spokesperson Sandra Yi Barker said in December.
Individuals started to conduct walks through Wolf Point on Monday, Nov. 30, asking for justice in the case. The march featured people of all ages chanting, “What do we want? “Justice,” “Who do we want it for?” “Cody.”
Weeks-Combs was a 2011 Wolf Point High School graduate and father of three children.
