Frazer Squads Drop Games To Nashua Teams

The Frazer Bearcubs dropped basketball contests against Nashua on Friday, Jan. 8.

Frazer’s girls lost by a 64-29 final. Nashua led 13-0 at the end of the first quarter and 37-3 at the half.

Angel Nelligar scored nine points to lead Frazer. Also scoring for the Bearcubs were Justine Smoker with six, Evelyn Yellowhammer with six, Lianna Jackson with three, Jazmyn Windyboy with three and Audrey Smoker with two.

Nashua’s top scorers were Kaitlynn Miller with 18, Tia Dees with 14 and Devin Fromdahl with 10.

Frazer’s boys fell by a 59-48 margin.

Nashua led 20-14 at the end of the first quarter and 30-26 at intermission.

The Porcupines increased their advantage to 46-33 during the third quarter.

Top scorers for Nashua were Fletcher Clampet with 23 and Trace Crumeyer with 16 points.
