Ellis RedBoy


Ellis Reeves “Kuhboy” Red-Boy, 53, of Wolf Point died Jan. 3, 2021.
He was born to Merceline RedBoy on March 3, 1967, in Poplar. He was raised by his grandparents, Harry and Leila RedBoy. He was a member of the Bad Temper Bear Clan.
He attended Headstart in Brockton, moved to Devils Lake, Red Lodge and graduated from Wahpeton Indian School in North Dakota.
He worked at A& S Industries, Looking Eagle Manufacturing and Nemont Water and taught some computer classes at Fort Peck Community College.
He enjoyed working on cars and knew what was wrong when anyone told him what sound the car was making.
He loved skiing in his younger days and was a fancy dancer. He always had a guitar in his possession and loved to jam out. He taught some of his friends to play. He was artistic with gray tape, making feathers and car decorations. His other passion was computers, fixing them and making CDs for family members.
He is survived by his son, Allen RedBoy of Wolf Point; daughter, Stephanie RedBoy of Billings; mother, Merceline RedBoy of Wolf Point; brother, Alvah TalksDifferent of Wolf Point; five grandchildren; and many more grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by sons, Deland RedBoy, Alison RedBoy and Melvin Bullchief; brother, Phillip Red-Boy; and lifelong companion, Christina Martell.
Graveside services were held Saturday, Jan. 9, at Riverside Catholic Cemetery in Riverside under the direction of Clayton Stevenson Memorial Chapel.
