The public is invited to support the Bainville Class of 2021 during a holiday bazaar at the school this weekend. The Christmas holiday bazaar is scheduled for Friday, Dec. 4, from 4-8 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 5, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fundraiser is for the Bainville Dollars for Scholars.

Roosevelt County schools are among the 180 schools in the state that will receive additional COVID relief funds by the end of this year. Gov. Steve Bullock announced $13 million of funds going to the schools last week. The school applied for the additional dollars after $75 million was received by the schools in July. “While this additional funding will serve our schools with continued needs through the end of this year, our schools head into the new year empty handed,” Bullock said in a press release. Culbertson Elementary School will receive $16,524 and Culbertson High School will get $6,911. Brockton Elementary School will receive $8,262 and the high school will receive $2,701. Bainville Schools, K-12, will receive $14,061.

Jim Steinbeisser, a rancher in the Sidney area, has been selected as the new president for the Montana Stockgrowers Association.
