A Christmas Promise

Once upon a time there was a little girl named Promise and she was always waiting for Santa every night since she was 7 years old and her siblings broke the news to her that Santa wasn’t real. Now she is 12 years old and still doesn’t believe in him. She got to open a gift on the first day of December and she got a new outfit and she was very thankful for the gift that she got. The tag said from Santa to Promise and she knew that it was from her parents so she told them that she knew it was from them. They said it wasn’t from them and she was so shocked. She went to her bedroom because she thought that they were lying and said that. She went to school the next day and told her friend Lakealah that whole story. Lakealah’s said she thought Promise’s parents were playing a trick on her too. She watched the tree all night and she didn’t see them come down the stairs and then she went to bed. A couple weeks passed by and it was Christmas and she waited for her parents to come down the stairs but they didn’t do anything and it was a wonderful Christmas.
