Imagine Your Story Summer Reading Program Kicks Off
Readers age preschool through young adult are encourage to read, read and read some more this summer as Culbertson Public Library presents, “Imagine Your Story” during their summer reading program.
Registration begins at the library Monday, July 20, and the program ends Aug. 13. Area youth and their families are especially encouraged to join in the fun.
“Reading can help you imagine your story,” said Leona Colvin, librarian. Colvin added, “We have books on cooking, crafting, and writing, not to mention fairy tales, biographies and graphic novels we are sure to have something to spark your imagination.” All patrons that come to the library, sign up for the monthlong program, and read at least one-hour, will have the chance to choose prizes from the library’s treasure box. At the end of the program, readers will be entered in to a raffle with wonderful prizes from local businesses and organizations.
This year we have a special “Pay it Forward Prize,” the winner of this prize will receive two prizes, one for themselves, and one to give to a person of their choosing. The more participants read, the more prize tickets they’ll receive for a chance to win any of our prizes.
The Culbertson Public Library is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
