Volunteers Process Relief Applications

Off-Reservation Tribal Members To Receive Packets

According to Fort Peck Tribes Executive Board member Kaci Wallette, 5,500 COVID-19 Emergency Relief Assistance applications were processed and mailed to enrolled members 18 years of age and older who reside off the Fort Peck Indian Reservation.

The applications were mailed June 11. The deadline for the first relief payment is June 30.

“They worked very hard to ensure we can offer this assistance to all of our members,” said Wallette.

Enrolled tribal members who meet income requirements are eligible to receive up to $650 each and $200 per child.

Applications are available for all enrolled tribal members. They can be picked up at the front door of the Medicine Bear Complex tribal building in Poplar. Applications are available online at fortpecktribes.net. You can also call 768-2300. In Frazer, applications are available outside the community hall. Brockton and Fort Kipp residents can pick applications at B& S Quickstop.
