Commissioners Approve Livingston As Library Director

The Roosevelt County Commissioners held their regular meeting Tuesday, June 16. Commissioners Gordon Oelkers, Duane Nygaard and Gary Macdonald were in attendance. The meeting was also attended by county attorney Austin Knudsen and Donna Reum.

Janet Livingston was approved for promotion to library director. She will replace retiring library director Andrea Hayes. An annual pay raise was approved for aging department employee Gloria Giese in Froid.

Three seasonal hires were approved: Tracie Smith and Traci Kjelshus were hired with the Extension office. Ayden Van Why was hired with the weed department.

John Bach with Interstate Engineering attended the meeting via conference call. The commissioners requested that he set up a meeting to discuss plans and specifications for bidding out the Wolf Point road shop. A tentative meeting date was set for June 29.

Minutes were approved for the June 9 meeting. Claims were approved for June 9 in the amount of

$12,881.36.
