Thirty-One New COVID-19 Cases Diagnosed Statewide In Past Week
New COVID-19 cases reported in Montana over the past week totaled 31. The count now stands at 554, while North Dakota’s case count increased by 255 to 2,901 in the past week.
At presstime Tuesday, June 9, there were 554 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Montana. Of those cases, 485 are listed as recovered and active cases are at 51, up from last week’s 44 active cases. There have been 72 total hospitalizations, with five hospitalization listed as active. One new death was reported this week, with that count now at 18.
As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, June 9, a total of 53,184 tests had been completed, with 10,972 tests being completed over the past week.
Roosevelt County has reported no new cases. All seven reported cases in the county have recovered.
At presstime, there have been 2,901 cases reported in North Dakota, with 2,450 individuals listed as recovered. In North Dakota, 189 have required hospitalization with 32 currently hospitalized. Deaths reported in North Dakota have risen to 72, up from 65 this time last week. Total tests completed is 80,666 with 77,765 returning negative.
In North Dakota, Williams County has reported 25 cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday morning, May 26, which remains unchanged over the past week. Mountrail County has reported 43 cases, which is up two cases over the past week. Ward County has 44 reported cases, which is up six.
