Wolf Point Congregate Meals Feb. 20: Chili, cornbread, celery, carrot sticks and dessert.
Feb. 25: Barbecue pork sandwiches, potato chips, corn on the cob and dessert.
Feb. 27: Baked boneless chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, winter blend vegetables, birthday cake and ice cream.
*** Thank You Rudy Toews, our father, grandfather and great-grandfather, died February 6, age 97. The family wishes to thank the many individuals who visited and encouraged him during his last years.
Special thanks to Amber Swindler, Paulette Knaff, Kathy Johnson, Dennis Garsjo and the other staff at Prairie Ridge Village for their excellent care of Rudy, to the staff at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital for their care at the end; to our cousins Jurine Unrau, Richard Wiens and other extended family for standing in for us when we couldn’t always be there; to Pastor Frank Lenihan, the musicians and the womens’ group of the Lustre MB Church who helped make the funeral service meaningful and hospitable; to Bell Mortuary for taking charge of final arrangements; and to the staff of the Cottonwood Inn for flexibly accommodating the many family and friends who traveled for the funeral.
