Girl Power

Wolf Point students (left to right) Jurnie Pepion, Myklynn Lewis and Kylee Fourbear participated in an empowerment project titled GirlStrength:WomenPower Nov. 24 at the Wolf Point Community Center. The trio sat for portraits with each other and several adult women from the community, including Carrie Manning, Karen Yellow Robe and Sherry Shields. Leadership coach and educator Carolyn Campbell said the project goals include a desire to honor girls and young women who are striving to overcome the challenges they face and become healthy, successful, culturally connected adults.
