Cowboys Drop Contest Against Savage

The Culbertson Cowboysbasketball team came up short in Savage, 57-40, during District 2C action on Friday, Feb. 2.

Savage held a 17-10 lead at the end of the first quarter and a 31-20 half-time margin.

The Warriors increased the margin to 45-30 in the third period.

Top scorers for the Cowboys were Bridger Salvevold with 10, Donte Eagle Boy with nine and Nyreece Halvorson with nine points.

Also scoring for Culbertson were Gavin Deen with four, Mark Kirkaldie with two, Plenny Williams with two, Micah Eagle Boy with two and Dawson Bergum with one point.

Leading Savage were Zane Pilgeram with 18, Hunter Sanders with 17 and Sayer Erickson with 12 points.
