County Reports 47 Active COVID Cases

 

Roosevelt County reported 47 active COVID cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. There have been 3,827 total cases in the county. Roosevelt County Health Department hosts COVID-19 vaccine clinics in Wolf Point the first and third Thursdays of the month, and in Culbertson on the fourth Thursday. Clinics for children 5-11 years of age are held every three weeks on Fridays. Call 406-653-6223 for a COVID vaccine appointment.

Area Statistics

Daniels County had six active cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. The county has 462 cumulative cases.

Valley County reported nine active cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. The county has 2,079 cumulative cases.

In McCone County, there were zero active cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. There have been 438 cumulative cases.

Phillips County had three active cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. There have been 1,131 cumulative cases in the county.

For Richland County, there were seven active cases as of Friday, Dec. 16. There have been 2,930 cumulative cases.

Sheridan County had one active case as of Friday, Dec. 16. There have been 884 cumulative cases in the county.

Statewide

According to Montana health officials, the state’s total number of known cases now stands at 321,244 since the start of the pandemic. Around the state, there are 1,377 active cases and 1,094 newly reported cases in the last week.

By Friday, Dec. 16, a total of 3,614 deaths have been reported statewide. A total of 13,778 individuals have been hospitalized.

North Dakota Statistics

Williams County, N.D., had 52 active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 15.

McKenzie County, N.D., had three active cases as of Thursday, Dec. 15.

Divide County, N.D., had three active cases as of Dec. 15.

Vaccine Doses

As of Friday, Dec. 16, 1,634,328 total doses have been administered in Montana. There are 562,931 or 52 percent fully immunized Montanans.

In Roosevelt County, 15,033 total doses have been administered as of Friday, Dec. 16. There are 5,819 fully immunized for 53 percent of the county’s eligible population for vaccination.

In Valley County, 9,222 total doses have been administered. There are 3,304 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Daniels County, 1,968 total doses have been administered. There are 703 fully immunized for 43 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In McCone County, 1,255 total doses have been administered. There are 431 fully immunized for 26 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Richland County, 10,882 total doses have been administered. There are 4,138 fully immunized for 37 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Phillips County, 4,790 total doses have been administered. There are 1,779 fully immunized for 45 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.

In Sheridan County, 5,504 total doses have been administered. There are 1,838 fully immunized for 56 percent of the county’s population eligible for vaccination.
