He attended  school at Poplar Schools but later obtained his GED. In May 1986, he graduated from Lake Region Community College in Devils Lake, N.D., receiving his diploma in farm tractor and diesel mechanics.<br \/>\n\t  He worked for a time as a split netter for Dakota Tribal  Industries in Fort Totten, N.D., and at a trucking company  in Billings.<br \/>\n\t  In his early years, he met and married Linda Melbourne  and, to this union, came their son Thomas. He later met Patricia McKay and, to this union, came Tana and Evangeline. He then met Roberta Bell and, to this relationship,  Doris was born.<br \/>\n\t  After living in the Sheyenne  and Devils Lake, N.D., areas for a great many years, he came to Montana where he remained until his death.<br \/>\n\t  He loved working on vehicles  and, if anyone needed anything done, he was quick to help until his health forced him to quit doing what he loved.
