He is an enrolled member of the Fort Peck Assiniboine  and Sioux Tribes. He grew up in Wolf Point and attended school here.<br \/>\n\t  In his youth, he loved fishing  and being outdoors and working on cars, a favorite pastime shared with his son, Robert Garfield. He was always  there for his mother and helped her fix things around the house. He was a helpful and caring handyman.<br \/>\n\t  He met Sherri Comeslast and, to this union, daughters Auriona, Jatonna and Jacquelyn  were born.<br \/>\n\t  He had a great sense of humor,  finding the good in all things. He always filled moments  spent with him with laughter and appreciation for the smaller things in life.<br \/>\n\t  He is survived by his daughters, Auriona, Jatonna, Jacquelyn and Heavynn Onstad;  and brothers, Jonathan and Alwin; sisters, Janell, Paula and Cynthia; and numerous  grandchildren.<br \/>\n\t  He was preceded in death by his son, Robert Garfield; and sisters, Lena Siljenberg, Angel Garfield and Susan Garfield.<br \/>\n\t  Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 12, at 1 p.m. at the new Wolf Point Community  Hall. Interment will follow at Chicken Hill Cemetery.
