Surrounded by largerthan-  life characters, her powerful  imagination transforms into magical powers and inspirational  dreams as she searches  for a better life.<br \/>\n\t  Yoakam, age 9, is a third grader. She said her favorite subjects are music and math. Her favorite movie is Mamma  Mia.  She likes basketball, cookie dough ice cream and has a labradoodle named Murphy.<br \/>\n\t  She said she\u2019s nervous about talking on a major performing  role on stage.<br \/>\n\t  Yoakam said her role reminds  her to appreciate her<br \/>\n\tYoakam<br \/>\n\tGlasgow\u2019s McKay Yoakam will star as Matilde at FPST in July.
