{"id":39031,"date":"2021-11-04T05:00:30","date_gmt":"2021-11-04T11:00:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uswps02.newsmemory.com\/northernplainsindependent\/news\/?p=39031?destination=northern-plains-independent"},"modified":"2021-11-04T05:06:16","modified_gmt":"2024-04-22T05:06:16","slug":"douglas-bivens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.northernplainsindependent.com\/2021\/11\/04\/douglas-bivens\/?destination=northern-plains-independent","title":{"rendered":"Douglas Bivens"},"content":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\n\t Douglas \u201cDoug\u201d Bivens, 70, of Poplar died Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, at the Sidney Health Center in Sidney.<br \/>\n\t  He was born on March 10, 1951, in Sidney, the son of William \u201cHarold\u201d and Lois (Hershman) Bivens.<br \/>\n\t  He grew up on the family ranch in Poplar and attended Richey Schools. He graduated  from the Winamac High School, Winamac, Ind.<br \/>\n\t  After graduation, he returned  to the Bivens family farm and ranch.
