Spitzer, 78, a retired contracting officer for Malmstrom  AFB, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Benefis Peace Hospice.<br \/>\n\t  He was born in Wolf Point to Rudolph and Annie (Naasz) Spitzer. He attended school in Wolf Point and, in about 1965, he moved to California  and worked as a produce  manager in the grocery store business.<br \/>\n\t  He came back to Montana in 1972, to the old Glasgow AFB going to work for Safeguard,  a military contractor. Safeguard began closing in 1973 and Dale was transferred to Malmstrom AFB going to work in Base Supply. He later  went to the Contracting Squadron and retired from there in 2003.<br \/>\n\t  He married Cheryl Kemmis  in September 1973 and they made their home in Great Falls ever since.<br \/>\n\t  He loved fishing. Fort Peck Lake was always a special place to him, but he loved his fishing trips to Cabo San Lucas and Prince Edward Island,  too.<br \/>\n\t  He also was a pretty good carpenter, having remodeled two of their homes.
