\n\t Virginia Lee (Warmbrod) Teagle, 58, of Minot, N.D., died Sept. 25, 2020, at her residence.
\n\t She was born Sept. 30, 1961, in Wolf Point, the first-born child of Jack and Edith Warmbrod and, for the first five years of her life, she was the \u201conly child.\u201d It was at this time that she met David Lingle, whom became her livelong friend and her \u201cfirst brother.\u201d In 1970, her parents moved the family from town to Wolf Creek, where they made their home on the Warmbrod family farm and ranch.
\n\t As a young child, she spent countless hours with her grandmother Myrtle Warmbrod, who taught her the lifelong skills of cooking, baking, needlework and sewing. In true Virginia fashion, she excelled in all of those skills and was well known for her wonderful meals, amazing baked goods and cherished homemade gifts. She always had a \u201cTomboy\u201d side and loved nothing more than being her father\u2019s right-hand man. As a child, she was often found with her dad feeding cattle and riding in the combine. As she grew older, she became one of the main truck drivers, hauling wheat into town to the elevator. In true farmer fashion, this started at the age of 12.
\n\t She and her father always had a very tight bond and until his death and they were frequently found having coffee in the afternoon at the Husky Truck Stop and later the Stockman Caf\u00e9.
\n\t She graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1979. While in high school, she was active in cheerleading, choir, swing choir, band and Rainbow Girls. She later became a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
\n\t After high school, she married Zane Taylor and, to this union, Zane Michael \u201cMike\u201d Taylor was born. She later married Ken Lewis and with this union, Destiny joined the family. While married to Kenny, they became house parents to Riverview Home, where she was \u201cMom\u201d to many.
\n\t She also worked for Roosevelt County Sheriff\u2019s Office, where she was a dispatcher and jailer. This was a position she took great pride in.
\n\t After the death of her father, she began driving the family school bus with her mother. Together, they ran the Wolf Creek bus route for four years. After the end of the bus route, she moved to Williston, N.D., and this is where she met Rick Teagle in 2002, while she was looking to purchase a vehicle at Fisher Motors in Minot, N.D. From then, it was a whirlwind. They married May 16, 2003, at the Scandinavian Heritage Park in Minot. They traveled many places together on their Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She loved to ride and have the wind in her face.
\n\t She is survived by her husband, Rick Teagle of Minot; son, Mike Lewis of Wolf Point; daughter, Destiny Steele of Wolf Point; three grandchildren; brother, John Warmbrod of Miles City; and sisters, Jean Dixon of Virginia and Sharon Stein of Miles City. She is also survived by Rick\u2019s children, Karla Scheresky of Garrison, N.D., Luke Teagle of Bismarck, N.D., Seth Teagle of Newark, Ohio, Sarah Teagle of Russelville, Ark., and Hannah Lamm of Fayetteville, Ark.; and 10 grandchildren.
\n\t She has been cremated and her ashes will be spread in North Dakota, South Dakota and Montana as per her wishes. A private celebration of life will be held Monday, Oct. 26, at Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in Minot, N.D.
