After graduating  from Wolf Point High School, he moved to Billings for college. Shortly after, he moved back to Wolf Point to work at the bank, then moved to Malta to work at Delta Ford. Throughout his life, he was an entrepreneur through and through \u2014from being a rodeo clown, repo-man, salesman, team roper, bar owner and much more.<br \/>\n\t  He married Juanita Kolczak in 1976 in Malta. They had two children, Jay and Tangie.  During this time, they enjoyed team roping every weekend and fishing. They later parted ways. He moved to Malta, married Cindy Kent in 1982. They had one son, Travis. They separated and he later moved to Billings, where he eventually met Pam Gabel. Together, they built a beautiful house, shop and the Rhoadside Event Center.
