Dorothy was born on Nov. 14, 1939, with twin brother, Donnie. The family totaled 11 children, growing up on the family homestead near Vida, Mont. Dorothy graduated from Wolf Point High School in 1957. She attended Montana State University  for two years, then Eastern Montana College for one year. Moving to Billings, she met her husband, Jim Mill. They started a family \u2014 son, Dave; and daughters, Donnetta (sis) and Darcy. Jim and Dorothy were married for 58 years.<br \/>\n\t  After a few jobs, it seemed she found her dream job at Billings Clinic, being a purchaser  of supplies and equipment.
